The primary sector forms the economic base to the Wairarapa region that supports many other businesses as well as the cultural and social foundation for the region. The Wairarapa Primary Skills Advisory Group, chaired by Paul Crick, has a membership that is wide ranging in representation from farmers and growers, industry bodies, and educators.
The group has been focused on developing and delivering, for the second year, the Good2Great programme. An interactive, grassroots communication and leadership programme for rural teams. The programme includes a series of dynamic workshops, practical tools, and 1-on-1 mentoring for leaders, 2IC's and teams to attain and embed the growth they need for effective workplace communication, leadership, and great teamwork.
For more information about the Good2Great programme, check out their website.
