The RBP Network is a Government-sponsored initiative, designed to help small and medium-sized businesses grow and innovate. The Network consists of 14 regional agencies across the country. Support services in Wellington Region are provided by WellingtonNZ (The Regional Economic Development Agency) on behalf of MBIE.

Business Needs Analysis
When you have registered with the Network, a Business Growth Manager will meet with you to carry out a confidential ‘discovery session’. This is an open and honest conversation about your business challenges and goals, as well as your ability to commit to make the desired changes. Your Business Growth Manager will act as your coach, making recommendations and connecting you with support appropriate to your needs.
Capability Funding
You can access co-funding to subsidise the cost of business specialists in areas relevant to you. This could include upskilling in business and financial planning, education on how to raise venture capital, develop marketing strategies or significantly expand your business offering.
Resources
Be connected with a number of FREE business resources and programmes, including templates, online courses, or start-up support.
R&D Support
WellingtonNZ have a dedicated Research and Development team that works closely with Callaghan Innovation to support businesses looking to develop new products/services.
